Welcome to the Joa-Saerano Campaign Wiki!

This site details the setting of Joa-Saerano, the setting for my Iron Heroes campaign. I hope to make it easily accessible to new players and to share it with anyone else who might want to use it for play as well. I highly recommend starting with JoaSaerano101 to get oriented, and then looking around from there.

If this was a movie trailer...

A old man hands something wrapped in cloth to her. She unfolds it carefully to find a pulsating hideous knife. She looks at him and weeps silently.

His prayers seem to last forever. Finally he looks at the heavens. Behind him, his army screams, and the charge begins.

It is only one at first, that rises from the river. But soon a hundred of it's brethren gaze with hunger at the unsuspecting town.

The earth rumbles, quakes, and mounds rise up, finally exploding as strange stone statues rise from the ground. The time is now.

They dance and twirl like two fireflies in the night. Except light flashes only when their steel unites. "Friends die together", he thought bitterly.

Bloodied and wild-eyed, he stood amongst them, ready to fight. Instead, each one kneeled and crooned a deep reptilian tone, for he was their king.

A lone figure stumbles up to the great monolith, exhausted and injured. A small, perhaps meaningful ritual is undertaken, before she beats her fist bitterly against the silent rock.

This is the world of Joa Saerano- where heroes carve fate and history with steel.
